El Pollo Loco:
Flavor-Driven Holiday Campaigns

During my time at Organic, I led concept ideation and multi-channel design execution for El Pollo Loco's seasonal and holiday campaigns — some of the brand's highest-stakes annual moments. I developed the creative concepts from the ground up and produced visual assets across IG, FB, email, and paid ads, with a unified look designed to drive both product sales and app signups. I collaborated with marketing parnters to delivere cohesive, brand-consistent work across social, email, and CRM.

The Results: 
One of the seasonal campaigns, National Burrito Day (2021), we turned NBD into the single highest sales day in El Pollo Loco’s history.  For single-day sales volume, the campaign beat the previous year’s NBD sales by +240%, our campaign objective by +225%, and most impressively, the single-day company record by 10%.

For our same-day digital transactions and loyalty program sign-ups, we beat our campaign objectives by 55% and 14% respectively, and in both cases set single-day company records.

This campaign helped El Pollo Loco turn a corner in a way that hasn’t been felt since the start of the pandemic.
